Gionee ELIFE S5.5 Now in the Philippine Market

Last July 13, 2014, another player in the mobile phone industry emerged in the Philippine market. Introducing, Gionee ELIFE S5.5 smart phone, the world’s slimmest smart phone in the market today with 5.5mm thickness. This new android phone is equipped with Corning Gorilla glass screen  and with a whooping processing speed of 8 real octa-core cpu, this new player is certainly one bad-ass in the block today.

In the launching event, Gionee Philippines presented to the media and to the public some of its features along with its Philippine Brand ambassador, the alluring, Ms. Ellen Adarna. Hosted by the equally sexy comedian Ms. Gizzelle Sanchez, Gionee flaunt to the public the qualities of the new Gionee ELIFE S5.5. 

Shortly after, the hosts raffled off some of Gionee’s phones to Facebook contestants who were previously notified and the winner of the new Gionee ELIFE S5.5. Executives from China made detailed presentations about its features and even demonstrated on how durable the phone is by intentionally dropping it on the floor by no less than Ms. Ellen Adarna herself. 

The phone runs on a high speed octa-core chip set with 1.7GHZ processing speed. I already how a dual and a quad core run and these are really fast. So I would imagine how an octa-core can go. But of course for every speed requires more power that can drain your battery power dry in no time. So it should really have balance of processing speed and battery life capability. 

Another feature Gionee  ELIFE S5.5 is the resolution camera. Having Philippines being the selfie capital of the world, I guess this feature would come as top priority over other stuff. It has a 13 megapixel front camera and 5 megapixel at the back. Okay, a lot of Phones have that. But the clincher here is the camera’s ability to have a 95 degree wide-angle shot capturing much area of space. so when you take a selfie, the phone can capture even your legs and feet with clear pictures.
